TWIN STICK JUKEBOX
ROLE
System Designer
DESCRIPTION
The Twin stick jukebox project was mainly focussed on learning the basics of scripting after 2 years of using blueprints in Unreal Engine. This project increased my technical knowledge and gave me a good base for the future if I were to work with a scripting language

LEARNING POINTS
Each team member had to design their own weapon and enemy from scratch. After brainstorming a concept we each created different sets of weapons and enemies. We met up to wach choose one of each so that our weapons and enemies formed a single vision.

For me personally this really helped with getting used to sketching. I went from drawing sloppy fast sketches to creating simple and readable sketches.
This block was my first experience with scripting ever. Scripting is something I struggle with a lot since I prefer to work with everything visualized in front of me.

The beginning was very rough and made me doubt if I was even able to tackle the issue of being new to this. I however kept asking questions and educating myself to tackle the issues that I bumped into on the way.
Teachers commended me for improving my knowledge and praised my work ethic of not giving up in combination with always communicating.
